Criteria for Lessons and
Projects
Each teacher
will identify the major
theme they will develope into a complete unit.
Each unit
will include the following items:

A minimum of 5 complete lessons.
(Watching a video for 4 days and completing a study guide is ONE
lesson, not five.) |

Source Documents must be accessed and utilized by

Collaboration (cooperative group discussion, projects, role play,
historical dramatization) |

Reading
Comprehension Activities (reading for the development of main ideas
and supporting details. Reading for CONTENT) |

Non-fictional Student Writing
Component (compare & contrast, analysis, opinion or response
paper, "what if" papers, literature review) |

Product including the assessment of product (rubric) |

Media,
print, technology resources. (If video, include student reflection
paper, anticipatory set etc.) |

Technology
component (web quest, PowerPoint, Inspiration map,
