Westward Waters participants were required to attend the
Smithsonian Teachers' Night at the Durham Western Heritage Museum
in Omaha, Nebraska on November 5th. The program was held from
5:30 - 8pm. This presentation along with informative
materials, resources, and exhibits prepared our participants for
our up coming journey to Washington DC where they will have the
chance to view the new Native American Smithsonian Museum.
