Exactly three years ago, the
Westward Waters participants came together for the first time at
the Educational Service Unit # 2. This was the start of
something really special...oh the places they have traveled, the
adventures they have shared, the books they have read, and the
history they have learned. Lives have changed since March
17th, 2003 - those of our participants, their students, their
peers, and their communities.
The weekend of March 17, 18,
19th brought the group (along with their families and
administrators) back together again one last time in celebration of
their accomplishments throughout the three year Teaching American
